Why this Recipe Works

  • Quick and Easy - This roasted broccoli and cauliflower takes just a few minutes to prep and cooks in around 10 minutes. From start to finish it's under 15 minutes!
  • Flavorful - the simple seasoning and light char from the air fryer gives this side dish tons of flavor.
  • Versatile - This air-fried broccoli and cauliflower is an excellent side dish, but they're also great in a frittata, on a salad or grain bowl, or even on top of a pizza!

Ingredient Notes

Bowls of broccoli, cauliflower, oil, salt, and pepper on a countertop.
  • Fresh Broccoli and Cauliflower - I use 1-2 medium broccoli crowns and around half a head of cauliflower for this recipe.
  • Olive Oil - Light olive oil works well, but you can also substitute your favorite cooking oil as well.
  • Seasoning - This air fryer roasted broccoli and cauliflower has a great flavor with just a simple salt and pepper seasoning. If you want to spice it up, you can add in some chili flakes. A squeeze of fresh lemon juice and a sprinkling of finely shredded parmesan cheese is another great option as well.

See the recipe card at the bottom of this post for the complete list of ingredients and measurements.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F. Trim the broccoli and cauliflower into bite-sized pieces and place them in a mixing bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat. Season with salt and pepper and toss again.

Expert Tips

  • Cut the broccoli and cauliflower into evenly sized pieces so they will cook evenly.
  • Avoid overcrowding the air fryer so the air can circulate properly. For larger quantities, you may need to work in batches.
  • To make this dish even quicker, you can buy a bag of pre-cut broccoli and cauliflower florets.

What to Serve with Air Fryer Roasted Broccoli and Cauliflower

This easy air-fried broccoli and cauliflower is a perfect side dish for a weeknight dinner. It's great with steaks, chicken, and seafood. I love to pair it with my baked lemon dill salmon for a healthy, complete meal in under 20 minutes! My air fryer chicken breasts are another great option.

These air fryer veggies are also tasty mixed into a salad or add them to a pan of scrambled eggs for a delicious roasted vegetable frittata.

Storage and Reheating

Store leftovers in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 5 days

Reheat leftovers in your air fryer at 390°F for 2 minutes or in the microwave.
