CHOCOLATE LAVA CAKE
4oz semi sweet chocolate bar, chopped ¼ cup butter 1 stick 1 cup powdered sugar 1 tbsp cocoa powder plus additional for coating dish 6 tbsp flour ⅛ tsp salt 2 whole eggs 2 egg yolks
Ingredients
Melt the chocolate
Add chopped chocolate and butter to a microwave safe dish and melt, then stir until smooth and set aside.

Make the batter
Add dry ingredients to a bowl and whisk to combine. Whisk together eggs and egg yolks. Combine chocolate mixture, dry mixture, and eggs in a large bowl and stir until smooth. Spoon batter into prepared ramekins

Bake the cakes
bake for 8 to 10 minutes until set but still soft in the middle. Remove from oven and let cool for about 2 minutes

Add toppings
The cakes can be topped with a dusting of powdered sugar and fresh berries. A scoop of ice cream or a drizzle of hot fudge or caramel is awesome too!
