This hearty classic homestyle chili is loaded with ground beef, beans, and tomatoes all simmered together in chili spices and is sure to warm you up on a cold winter day.
115 oz canlight red kidney beansdrained and rinsed
115 oz candark red kidney beansdrained and rinsed
115 oz canpinto beansdrained and rinsed

Instructions
Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat, then add the onion and green pepper and cook for 3-4 minutes until the onion is softened. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Season the ground beef with 1 teaspoon of chili powder, salt, and pepper. Add to the pot and cook for 6-8 minutes until browned, then drain any excess fat and return to pot.
Make a clearing in the middle of the pot and add the tomato paste. Cook for about 30-45 seconds, stirring frequently to avoid burning, until the paste begins to darken.
Add the tomatoes with their juices, beef broth, beans, and the remaining chili powder, paprika, and cumin, then stir to combine.
Let the chili simmer uncovered for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste, then serve.
