SAUCE – ¼ cup low sodium chicken broth or water – ¼ cup low sodium soy sauce – ⅓ cup honey – 2 cloves garlic, minced – 1 teaspoon sesame oil – 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced (optional) – 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional) STIR FRY – 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined – 2 cups broccoli florets – ½ medium red pepper – ½ medium green pepper – ½ medium yellow onion – 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
Stir together the sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Pour half over the shrimp and marinate for 15 minutes.

Saute the shrimp in oil for 2 minutes until nearly cooked through then transfer to a plate.

Add the remaining oil and the vegetables and cook for 4 to 5 minutes just until softened.

Add shrimp back to the pan and remaining sauce. Cook for 3 minutes until the shrimp are fully cooked and the sauce is slightly reduced.
