fresh green beans
rinsed and trimmed

cup
onion
diced

butter

chicken broth

teaspoon
garlic powder
Salt and pepper
to taste
Instructions
Set the Instant Pot to saute and allow it to preheat. While it preheats, rinse and trim the beans and dice the onion.
Add the butter to the pot and melt then add the onion and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent burning.
Turn off the pot then add the chicken broth and scrape up any brown bits from the bottom of the pot. Add the beans, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Lock the lid on the Instant Pot and set to manual high pressure for 5 minutes.
Allow the pressure to naturally release for 10 minutes then quick release the remaining pressure before removing the lid.
