Instant Pot Farro

Measure 1 cup of dry farro. Preferably pearled or semi-pearled.

Add to your Instant Pot along with 3 cups of water and ½ teaspoon salt.

Pressure cook for 8 minutes, then allow a natural pressure release for 8 minutes. Carefully vent any remaining pressure.

Drain any remaining water then fluff with a fork. 

Farro has a nutty flavor and chewy texture and is great as a simple side dish but it can be used in a variety of ways. It's great is soups, salads, and grain bowls!
