Find the joint where the flat and drum meet. Cut through the joint to separate the drum.

Find the joint between the wing tip and the flat, then cut off the wing tip and discard

2

Season the Wings

Rinse the chicken wings, then pat dry with paper towels. Place them in a large mixing bowl and toss with olive oil. Then add the baking powder, salt, and pepper and toss to coat.

3

Cook the Wings

Preheat your air fryer to 400℉. Place the wings in the air fryer in a single layer, leaving space between them so they aren't touching.

4

Cook the Wings

Cook for 10 minutes, then flip and cook for another 8 minutes. Then remove and serve or toss with your favorite wing sauce.

Tips for Success

Cook in a single layer and avoid overcrowding the air fryer

If cooking multiple batches for a crowd, add them all back to the air fryer for 2-3 minutes before serving to reheat the earlier batches.

Use your air fryer's crisper plate or rack to keep the wings elevated from the fat that renders out in the cooking process.

These crispy air fryer chicken wings are extra crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. Cooking chicken wings in an air fryer is quick and easy, and they're ready in under 20 minutes!
