Crispy Baked Buffalo Wings

3 pounds chicken wings 3 tsp baking powder 1 tsp kosher salt ½ tsp onion powder ½ tsp garlic powder ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper 3 tbsp melted butter 3 to 4 tbsp Frank's Red Hot sauce

Trim the wings

Cut at the joint between the drum and flat, then cut off the wing tip. Then rinse and dry thoroughly.

Season the Wings

Mix baking powder, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and pepper in a large bowl or zip to plastic bag, then add chicken wings and toss to coat. Place wings on rack leaving about 1 inch of space in between each wing.

Bake the wings

Heat oven to 450ºF. Bake wings for 20 minutes then flip and bake for an additional 20 minutes.

Flip again and bake for about 5 more minutes until the wings are cooked through and skin is crispy and light golden brown.

Sauce the wings

While the wings cool melt the butter in a microwave safe dish and then add to a large bowl with the hot sauce and stir to combine. Add cooled wings to the bowl with the sauce and toss until thoroughly coated.

Serve and enjoy!

Serve the wings immediately with celery, carrots, and dipping sauce.
